Former Federal Liberal Candidate Jennifer Stebbing Endorses Howard Rabb

The former federal Liberal Candidate for Flamborough Glanbrook Jennifer Stebbing has formally endorsed Howard Rabb for the ward 7 race.  Jennifer is a lawyer, former federal candidate, and the current Golden Horseshoe President of the Liberal Party of Canada (Ontario).

Jennifer has also been hugely supportive behind the scenes helping to run and manage the campaign so far.

I met Howard about two years ago and found myself impressed right away by his energy and his dedication.  Howard is a high energy individual who excels at everything he sets his mind to.  I watched him make the transition from the private sector to the public sector with great interest.  Not everyone who excels at business is well suited for government and vice versa, but Howard adapted to his new role within City Hall quickly.  As I was involved in my election last year I had a great many opportunities to see Howard on both official and unofficial visits.  Whether it was a 9 am meeting or a 9 pm event Howard demonstrated the same level of professionalism regardless of the time of day.

As the president of Golden Horseshoe for the Liberal Party of Canada (Ontario) and National Liaison for the Flamborough-Glanbrook Federal Liberal EDA I can say that Howard’s election platform impresses me.  His desire to create an independent Auditor General at City Hall will give residents a new look at how their money is being managed.  It will also give the Council new tools to keep tabs on different areas of the organization that may not receive the same level of scrutiny.

Howard has the relationships at City Hall to start working on day one.  He has also built lasting friendships and relationships in both the private sector and in higher levels of government.  I know that he will make an excellent City Councillor and will be someone who builds bridges in this great city not walls.
