Terry Whitehead Supporting Howard Rabb in Ward 7

Dear Howard,

Your employment with me for the last year has been exemplary. Your commitment and dedication exceeded all expectations. Your tireless work on the Canada Post matter and how it was appreciated by many mountain residents is noteworthy.  The hours you contributed to this office far exceeded your pay, which reflects your profound care and concern in helping many of the residents on the mountain. You have observed the budget process and understand the challenges to ensure that mountain residents get their fair share of the capital and operational expenditures. You’ve come to understand that the state of our roads, public transit, and disposition of school board lands are significant issues that impact mountain residents.

You have developed relationships with both city staff and elected officials developing a deep respect by all. You’re tech and social media savvy has supported exponential growth of engagement from residents on the mountain. You have proven that you clearly understand how to get things done at city hall.

I’m not surprised that you have decided to run in Ward 7 so that you can take your experience and political acumen to assist many of the residents that you hope to represent. Undoubtedly, there are some good candidates in the Ward 7 race however; none of them have developed the network and understanding of current issues at city hall as you have. Unlike the other candidates in the Ward 7 race, you will be able to hit the ground running, ensuring that ward 7 residents are not left behind.

You understand the importance of working with your colleagues to garner the majority vote to get things done.  I know there are many councillors here that would welcome you if you were to be elected. Good luck in the election, I hope this letter will facilitate informing the many voters in ward 7 of your attributes and why I believe you are the best candidate in this race.
